Buccellati .800 Silver Box, Italy, mid-20th century, engraved to lid with three caricatures of commedia dell'arte dwarf figures after the work Les Gobbi by the 17th century printmaker Jacques Callot, titled to edge of lid "da i Gobbi di Jac Callot 1592-1635," the sides and base of box with linen texturing, engraved M. Buccellati to inner rim of body, 7 x 4 3/4 x 2 3/8 in., approx. 21 troy oz. good, with minor light surface scratching and a faint pinpoint to front edge of lid.
