Henry Grant Lloyd (British/Australian, 1829-1904) Strassbourg Cathedral Signed "H Lloyd" l. r., inscribed "Strassbourg Cathedral" [ sic ] in ink on the reverse on the support with a label from Marshall Field and Companies Picture Galleries on the back of the frame. Watercolor on paper affixed to mat board, sight size 13 5/8 x 9 5/8 in. (34.3 x 24.1 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, acid burn from old wood backing to the reverse of the mat board support. Inscribed "A 4783" in pencil on the back of the supporting mat. Window is glued to the back of the mat across the top, making it impossible to open fully with out damaging the window mat.
