Edmund Blampied (British, 1886-1966) The Accusation Signed and numbered in pencil "2... /50 E Blampied" l.l., signed and dated in the matrix "Blampied/1930" l.l., inscribed and titled on a label on the back of the frame. Lithograph on paper, sheet size 14 x 18 7/8 in. (35.6 x 48.0 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, rippling. Inscribed "A 99738 mx" in pencil on the reverse. The print appears to be hinged to the back of the mat board, but the window is glued to the back mat along the top,making it impossible to open fully without possibly damaging the silk covered window mat. There is a label from Munson Gallery, New Haven, Connecticut, on the backing paper of the frame.
