American Guitar, C. F. Martin & Company, Nazareth, 1946, Style 000-28, stamped 000-28, 97405 at the upper block, width of lower bout 15 3/16 in., with period Martin case. Deep pick wear under strings and around soundhole. Bridge a later replacement. Tuners original. Large retouched area where extra pickguard was mounted for left handed playing. Neck joint appears to be original: there is a small bead of glue around joint, but this is normal. Height of heel cap is 7/8 in, (+ - 1/64"), which is normal spec. Bridge plate is original.
