Cylinder Musical Box by Mermod Freres, No. 56091, playing ten airs, with two-part comb, double-spring motor, butterfly-wing governor, tune select and safety check, in rosewood veneered case with kingwood borders and inlaid lid, wd. 28, cylinder 16 in., (spring defective, lacking garnet and controls, non-running, lid off). Mechanism non-running, but pins and comb appear fine. Plays quite well when cylinder is turned by hand. Outer lid off, missing glass from innder lid. Case with original finish in sound condition.
