Eight-Air Sublime Harmonie Musical Box by Mermod Freres, Switzerland, serial #40032, the mahogany veneered box with banded veneer, line and marquetry inlays with lid opening to reveal the tune sheet listing eight selections including "The Wedding March", "The Last Rose of Summer" and "My Queen Waltz", nickel plated movement with 11-inch cylinder, two-part comb, Jacot's Patented Safety Check and Change-Repeat selection dial, box lg. 25 1/4 in. Plays well, could use a bit of adjustment in the tune change selector, minor scuffing on cabinet ebonized feet.
