René Valette (French, 1874-1956) Hunter with Hounds Signed "René Valette" l. l. Oil on panel, 10 5/8 x 8 1/2 in. (27.0 x 21.5 cm), framed (under glass). Condition: Retouch, minor paint losses, slight bowing to support. Two lines of retouch in sky, each about 1 1/2 in. long. Scattered retouch along top edge and left corner. Small paint losses u.l. edge.
