Pair of Sevres-style Porcelain Portrait Vases and Covers, France, late 19th century, each with cobalt blue ground, gilded trim and raised ribbon framed cartouche with polychrome portrait, ht. 13 3/4 in. Each vase with gilt wear to top rim; one with shallow chip repair to top rim; one cover with gilt rim wear; one cover with old repair, having been broken in half and the finial repaired at the join.
