Meissen Porcelain White Glazed Swan Service Tureen and Cover, Germany, 19th century, heavily modeled with swans centering a floral band and classical mermaid handles, the cover with a partially nude maiden seated atop a dolphin with a cherub by her side, inscribed number 3908 and underglaze crossed swords mark, overall lg. 16 in. Second choice mark. Old and discolored repairs to each handle and to associated vines and foliage; also to cupid's arrow and a finger.
