Signed in pencil "Arthur Wm Heintzelman" l.r. and l.c., respectively, Figures signed "A.W. Heintzelman" in the plate. Plate sizes 8 1/8 x 9 1/8 in. and 8 5/8 x 6 3/4 in., respectively. Condition: Both with toning, rippling, Scholar with foxing, Figures with mat burn, not examined out of frames. Figures with a label from Marcel Guiot, Paris, on the frame backing paper. Scholar with a label from R. Williams, Philadelphia, on the frame backing paper.
