Viola, c. 1800, unlabeled, length of back 403 mm (15 7/8 in.). Back wood is probably willow, repaired face cracks from lower lobes of soundholes to bottom edge, repaired face crack in upper treble bout of top. Repaired fracture in lower rib, treble side. Loss of wing at treble soundhole. Back is clean.
