Provenance: Descended in the family of the consignor. Note: Accompanied by a copy of an article " Nature in Her More Joyous Moods Metalsmith Marie Zimmermann," by Joan Bamberger. Zimmermann's work was included in the exhibition The Art That is Life: The Arts & Crafts Movement in America at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts.
