Werner Pfeiffer (German, b. 1937) Liber mobile : An Experimental Book, 1967, edition of 130. Signed "Werner Pfeiffer" in ink and numbered "119" on the colophon, published by the Pratt Adlib Press, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York. Six double-page die-cut lithographs, sheet sizes 19 3/8 x 27 7/16 in., within a hard-cover portfolio. Condition: Minor creases/abrasions to preface page, minor wear to hard-cover. N.B. Werner Pfeiffer studied at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart, and emigrated to the United States in 1961. He joined the faculty at Pratt Institute shortly thereafter, and held positions as Professor of Art and Director of the Adlib Press until 2003.
