Two Louis Vuitton Valises, early 20th century, both of typical form with leather and brass trim, one bearing Vuitton paper label to interior with serial number 878201, measuring 26 x 16 3/4 x 9 in.; the other without interior label, 22 x 22 1/4 x 8 3/4 in. the larger example with some traces of shipping labels and with painted monogram T.B.L., carrying handle replaced; the smaller with some lifting from contact with water to the Vuitton monogrammed fabric at front panel below handle, possibly with relined interior; both with age typical usage, scuffs, scratches, and wear.
