Regency Mahogany Dome-top Tall Case Clock, early 19th century, hood with three round brass finials, door with round convex glass, with brass fish scale sound dampening panels, hood and arched case door flanked by brass stop-fluted pilasters, on base with ogee bracket feet, ht. approx 79, wd. 16 3/4 in. with period double cylinder movement, with metal face repainted: D.W. Thaiwte & Carter, London" small shrinkage cracks to platform upon which left side finials sits, and to bezel around glass door in hood, and front panel of base. small piece of trim lacking from base of right pilaster of hood, with resultant lifting of brass trim. loss to strip of veneer to left side of case.minor scuffs, finish inconsistencies, and scratches. has pendulum and two weights. Glass to hood door is convex.
