Regency Mahogany and Caned Library Armchair, early 19th century, rectangular caned back with upholstered arms ending in acanthus scroll handholds, with caned sides and seat, front stylized leaf tip carved tapered legs and rear square section splayed legs ending in brass caps and castors, with tufted red leather upholstered cushions, full ht. 39 1/2, seat ht. without cushion 13 in. breaks with significant loss to caning of sides, seat cushion lacking many buttons, upholstery with age wear throughout, minor age-typical scuffs and scratches
