Alexander Francois Loemans (Canadian/American, c. 1816-1898) Indian Encampment Signed "Loemans" l.r. Oil on canvas, 22 x 34 in. (56.0 x 86.5 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, craquelure. Scattered retouch to all four quadrants with three thin and broad areas of retouch in the u.r. quadrant with the largest area measuring approximately 3 x 3 in. to leaves and branches of the oak tree in the foreground, craquelure throughout.
