Julian Falat (Polish/Austrian, 1853-1929) Snowy Hayfield with Horse-drawn Sleigh Signed and inscribed "J. Falat/Polesie" l.l., inscribed "Na Polesiu Sty... 1921" in pencil over a landscape study on the reverse. Gouache on paperboard, sheet size 13 1/4 x 19 in. (33.7 x 48.4 cm), framed. Condition: Mounted to window mat with masking tape along three sides. There is an unfinished watercolor composition on the reverse showing fields and a mountain, score along top edge approx. 1 1/8 in., no additional condition issues to report.
