Juliusz Fortunat von Kossak (Polish, 1824-1899) Lady Riding Sidesaddle Signed, inscribed, and dated "Juliusz Kossak/w Kernasow ce/... 1876" l.r. Watercolor on paper, sight size 12 1/2 x 10 1/4 in. (31.8 x 26.0 cm), framed. Condition: Staining, foxing, not examined out of frame. Paper laid down on cardboard. with a partial printed label on the reverse. Sheet size 13 x 10 15/16 in. (33.0 x 27.8 cm). Staining to u.r. quadrant as well as lower right corner, mat burn, foxing, toning, tack holes in corners. Tear to the cardboard mount on the reverse that does not affect the sheet. Staining, foxing, and bowing to the mount. Mount affixed to window mat with tape.
