Louis Pons (French, b. 1927) Le Voisinage , 1965 Signed, dated, and inscribed "...Sillans...Var..." across the bottom edge; signed, titled, and inscribed u.l. and initialed "M.R." l.r. on the reverse. Ink on paper, 26 3/8 x 20 1/16 in. (67.0 x 50.9 cm), unframed. Condition: Toning, soiling, handling creases, tape residue to the reverse. Subtle toning to the sheet overall. Tape residue l.l., small abrasion u.l., handling creases l.r., and general soiling to the reverse. Please note that there is a simple wood frame with glass that accompanies this work, with exterior dimensions of 30 3/4 x 24 3/8 inches. The frame backing is inscribed with the title and date of the drawing, and with a stamp from Tableaux Modernes Encadrements/ Jean-Pierre Soardi/ Vieux Nice.
