Robsjohn Gibbings Reverse Foil-mounted Glass and Mahogany Three-door Cabinet, c. 1960, for Widdicomb, Grand Rapids, three glass doors with reverse foil decoration, open to reveal shelving over three bottom cabinets with large brass ring pulls, marked with metal Grand Rapids tag, (veneer ring mark), ht. 77 1/4, wd. 68 3/4, dp. 17 in. Note: The metal emblem on this piece was used by members of the Grand Rapids Furniture Makers Guild, beginning in 1931, to certify each individual piece of furniture by number as having been made by a Guild member, this number reads W2244. Base with top scratches, ring mark, overall some edge wear.
