Hugh Henry Breckenridge (American, 1870-1937) Portrait of Margaret Lyle (1901-1973) Unsigned, inscribed "Donnellan/ Rocky Neck" on the reverse, identified on a label affixed to the reverse, in an Arts and Crafts silver leaf frame. Oil on artist board, 20 x 16 1/4 in. (50.8 x 41.3 cm), in a silver leaf Arts and Crafts frame. Condition: Minor loss l.l., surface grime. Provenance: Purchased from William A. Donnellan, The Studio Restaurant [formerly Breckenridge's studio], 51 Rocky Neck Avenue, Gloucester, Massachusetts, June 1989.
