Italian School, 17th Century Christ on the Cross Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 25 1/2 x 21 in. (65.0 x 53.2 cm), framed. Condition: Lined (very old lining and perhaps more than one layer), retouch, canvas deformation, varnish inconsistencies, surface grime. Retouch to all four quadrants, mostly concentrated to areas of Christ's loincloth and spanning an area of 12 x 6 in. at extreme height and width; no additional condition issues to report.
