Kashmir Moon Shawl, North India, early 19th century, (several small repaired tears, several extremely small holes), 6 ft. x 6 ft. Joint running through center of the moon, also one above and one below the moon. It is made in five pieces (the two side borders separate from the three center pieces). Main border is 7 inches wide (with guard stripes 10 inches wide).
