Berlin Iron Bracelet, early 19th century, composed of iron and steel cameos depicting classical figures, alternating with and framed by ornamental wirework, lg. 8 in. Note: A similar example is pictured in Cut-Steel and Berlin Iron Jewellery , Anne Clifford, p. 80. One area of wirework missing from top right of female cameo. Some minor rusting to tongue and around the polished surface of cameos, unobtrusive. Overall wear with age.
