Important Pair of Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Gem-set Candlesticks, Edward Oakes, each with bell-shape hammered top and plain polished foot, centering a band of applied leaves, scrolling tendrils, and bezel-set cushion-cut amethysts, approx. 19 troy oz., ht. 4 3/4 in., each with maker's mark. One with crease dent to foot. Both with minor all over surface scratches. Flared rims to top slightly out of round, not at all obtrusive. Interiors with scratches from wax removal.
