Vintage Brass Minaudiere, Cartier, etched with a scene of elephants, stags, and foliate motifs, with coral and lapis thumbpiece, opening to mirrored interior, lg. 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 7/8 in., with fitted black file pouch, signed Cartier. Tarnish and discoloration to metal. Minor nicks to coral and lapis. Thumbpiece stone with chips. Mirror with discoloration and edge chips. Discoloration/oxidation to interior.
