Four-piece Victorian Silver Tea Service, London, 1840-47, James Wintle, maker, the melon-form creamer, open sugar, and near pair of teapots with extensive overall chased floral and C-scroll decoration, all with foliate ear-shaped handles, raised on four scrollwork feet, the teapots with floral blossom finial, foliate-decorated spouts, and ivory heat stops to handles, the creamer and sugar with gold-washed interior, teapot ht. 7 in., approx. 78.9 troy oz. All have minor usage and surface wear. Creamer with scratch to interior surface. Several pin-prick dents to spouts of teapots.
