Late Victorian Cheval Mirror Attributed to Merklen Bros. , c. 1890, the rectangular beveled mirror within twisted openwork frame, with carved square details to corners and ropetwist border, on stand with further rope-twisting and shoe feet, ht. 70 1/2, wd. 27 3/8 in. Both stand and framed mirror have small scattered chips to outer edges and corners. Feet show signs of usage and the mirror has patches of age-related discoloration.
