Samson" l.r., incised indistinct signature or inscription on the reverse, identified on a handwritten label affixed to the reverse. Oil on panel, 12 7/8 x 9 in., framed. Condition: Scattered retouch, craquelure, fine horizontal surface cracks to panel, surface grime. N.B. The handwritten label describes the artist as British, however no listings were found to confirm that nationality.
