Lot of Two Framed Pencil Drawings of Architectural Views by Helen Mason Grose (American, b. 1880) Entrance with Ornate Gate, possibly Brown University , signed "Helen M. Grose" l.r. and monogrammed l.c., sheet size 13 5/8 x 9 1/4 in.; Federal Style Mansion , unsigned, drystamped "JDH" on the reverse, sheet size 10 1/2 x 7 3/4 in.; Condition: Toning, mat burn, Federal Style Mansion hinged to back mat with duct tape in two places, Ornate Gate hinged across top with masking tape. N.B. Helen Mason Grose was an illustrator from Providence, R.I, who is known also for her sketches of historic American architecture.
