Chippendale Carved Mahogany Slant-lid Blockfront Desk, ht. 44 1/4, wd. 41 3/4 in. N.B. The interior right drawer with inscription "J.W. Hoxie, Cambridge Mass., 1861," with a star and American flag, the center drawer with paper label "A.G. Breittenstein, collector and repairer of Antique Furniture, 74N. Main St., old Gorham building, Providence, R.I." Refinished, detached backboard, old replaced feet, left and right sides with patches.
