Oak and Walnut Foot Treadle Lathe, 20th century, a bench-made replica set up with a swing tool, three jaw headstock, tail stock, tool rest and oak bench, ht. 48, wd. 36, dp. 26 1/2 in. This lathe was constructed by Ted Crom to demonstrate Black Forest clockmaking operations such as drilling, rounding up and general turning.
