Steel 17th Century-style Armet, with ridged skull piece, single comb, and brass plume holder, the pivoting protruding visor with pierced slits and holes fits over the laterally hinged chin pieces when the central enclosure is engaged, (holes to lower rear edge), ht. 10 1/2 in. Provenance: Higgins Armory Museum, Worcester, Massachusetts.
