Revolutionary War Flintlock Rifle with Bayonet, 18th century, with 42-inch barrel, iron and brass furniture including brass finger guard, lockplate with unidentified mark, brass butt plate, the barrel marked with 'V' near tang, walnut stock, socket bayonet with 15 1/2-inch triangular blade, (separation between barrel and stock, barrel with some rust). Note: A 20th century tag attached to the trigger guard reads "Committee of Safety Massachusetts."
