Historical Blue Transferware "Pickett's Charge" Platter, Bennett Pottery, Baltimore, Maryland, 1865-80, oblong platter decorated with the Civil War scene of Pickett's charge at Gettysburg enclosed by an oak leaf and acorn border with portrait medallions of General Robert E. Lee, General William. S. Hancock, General James Longstreet, and General G.G. Meade, printed title and eagle with American shield pottery mark on the bottom, 9 3/4 x 13 1/4 in. Glaze wear around rim edge otherwise very good condition.
