Papier-mache Milliner's Model-type Doll, Germany, c. 1840, with painted molded features, milliner-type kid body with wooden arms and legs, black sausage curl hairstyle, painted brown eyes, yellow-painted shoes, wearing a blue and white silk and white cotton gauze dress, with white linen under-dress and pantalets, (imperfections), ht. 15 in. Cracks on bust, paint losses and flaking mainly to hair, feet attached with glue repair, bodice of dress frayed, toning to fabric, tear on wide hem of dress skirt.
