Herman Richard Kissner Dietz (Russian/American, 1860-1923) Clipper Ship in Rough Sea with Approaching Storm. Signed and dated "1902" l.l. Oil on canvas, 20 1/2 x 30 1/4 in., in an ornate gilt-gesso frame. Condition: Relined, two vertical lines with paint losses and lifting. The whitish line on the left has paint loss, the line to the right -the paint is lifting from the canvas.
