(89.0 x 78.8 cm), in a probable Newcomb-Macklin frame. Condition: Scattered paint losses, areas of craquelure, surface grime. Scattered minor paint losses, particularly to l.l. corner. Areas of fine craquelure, typically in the white pigment. Minor canvas deformation l.l. corner; canvas slightly loosened along tacking edge u.l. corner. Subtle vertical line from possible flaw in the canvas along left side of the composition approximately 8 1/2 in. in from the left edge.
