Charles Warren Eaton (American, 1857-1937) Flemish Farm Signed "CHAS WARREN EATON" l. r. Oil on canvas, 18 x 16 in. (45.7 x 40.5 cm), framed. Condition: Abrasion l.c., discolored varnish, surface grime. With a label from Van's Frame Shop, Bloomfield, New Jersey, affixed to the back of the frame. Abrasion l.c. measuring 1-5/8 inches overall and 1/4 inch high at the largest point. Canvas deformation upper right corner, which would likely benefit from re-keying. Subtle stretcher bar marks along top and right sides. Accretions, dust and dirt overall, with accumulated dirt or a spill on the left side, 1-1/2 in. long, located 2 inches in and and 6-1/2 inches down from the upper left corner.
