Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987) Speed Skater, 1983, from the deluxe edition of 50 plus proofs, published by Visconti Art Spectrum, Vienna (Feldman & Schellmann, II. 303). Numbered and signed "35/50 Andy Warhol" in pencil l.l., dry stamp l.r., stamped "(C) ANDY WARHOL 1983" in red on the reverse. Color screenprint on paperboard, image/sheet size 33 1/2 x 24 1/8 in. (85.0 x 61.2 cm), unframed. Condition: Subtle soiling, areas of masking tape or residue to verso at edges. The soiling is very minor. There are several areas (primarily within the black ink) where rubs to the reverse have allowed colors underneath to show through in horizontal bands.
