Antique 18kt Gold and Shell Cameo Brooch, depicting Helios in his car atop the clouds, within a plain polished gold mount, lg. 1 3/4 in., French import stamps. Quite nicely carved. Some grime. Minor nick/abrasion at edge to reverse, not obtrusive. Tubular frame shaped to accomodate the shell. Minor "abrasion" at approx. 7 o'clock is a French import mark.
