Large black and red tole box hinged lid with round knob with "OOLONG" amid scroll work and oval medallions that lifts to reveal storage within. Red side panels with cheerful spring floral decoration. Metal box front with winter scene of young people playing in the snow and ice, a snowman holds an American flag in the background. Although box has a sign for oolong tea it is likely that this box was used for storing bread or a larger household kitchen item. Height 13.8", width 15", depth 12.8".
