Gilt-bronze Vairocana, Tibet, 18th/19th century, seated in dhyanasana pose atop a lotus throne, the six-armed divinity with his primary hands in dharmacakra mudra, his lower right hand in varada mudra, and the remaining hands holding a lotus, ewer, and sword, his close-fitting dhoti with finely incised patterns, wearing a foliate crown, ht. 8 1/2 in.
