Austrian Silver and Enamel Jewelry Box, Vienna, late 19th century, George Adam Scheid, maker, . 900 fine, rectangular, the lid with roundel cast with roundel of three cherub musicians, with basse taille jade green ground, and white enamel scroll edging, on small flattened ball feet, 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 in., approx. 14 troy oz. left and right sides each with shallow flakes at corner of green panel. rear panel of body with scratching to enamel.
