Austrian Gold-washed Silver and Enamel Japonesque Jewelry Box, Vienna, late 19th/early 20th century, . 900 fine, bureau-form, with block-fronted front panel, upper rim applied with finely scrolled and beaded band, raised on tapering legs, set to the hinged lid with enamel plaque decorated with figures before a pagoda, and to all sides with further enamel plaques with landscapes and figures, velvet-lined interior, ht. 3 1/2, wd. 5 1/2, dp. 3 1/8 in., approx. 25.2 troy oz. scattered light surface scratching. some enamel panels with small, unobtrusive corners chips (l.r. corner of lid; u.l. & l.r. corner of front center panel; all four corners of left side panel). light flake to l.r. corner of right side panel.
