Continental Silver Incense Boat, likely Dutch, 18th century, boat shaped body with scrolled finials at ends, single hinged lid, on weighted baluster stem and domed foot, engraved throughout with scrolls and acanthus, ht. 6 1/2 in. marks rubbed. restorations including hinge, join of one finial, possibly at a rim tear, and breaks to base. likely modified with loading, with related restorations at join of foot to stem, and possibly at join of stem to body.
