Pair of French . 950 Silver-mounted and Etched Colorless Glass Claret Jugs, late 19th century, maker's mark IO, the balustroid colorless glass body etched with neoclassical motifs and floral swags, mounted with silver neck with short spout, lid with foliate finial, with reticulated foliate lappets at shoulder, acanthus loop handles, on conforming, weighted trumpet foot, ht. 13 in. heavy tarnish. one with small metal split near base of handle. minor bends to reticulated lappets. glass either a little sick, or just dirty to interior.
