Russian Silver Tower-form Besamim Box Spice Container, Moscow, late 19th century, turret with round finial and single pennant, the square body inset with filigree panels to sides and door, with four smaller pennants to top edges, and suspending four small bells from lower edges, on knopped stem and tiered trumpet foot, ht. 9 7/8 in., approx. 4.7 troy oz. age typical light bends to pennants. possible repair at base of turret. one bell with small metal tear. some roughness of construction and overall age wear.
