Four Continental Silver Plate Tower-form Besamim Box Spice Containers, two with rectangular bodies, one pierced with geometric band, the other pierced with arched windows, ht. 8 7/8 and 9 3/4 respectively; one with lid formed as pierced turret enclosing a bell, on ovoid body, ht. 8 7/8; the fourth filigree, with cylindrical body, ht. 8 3/4 in. pierced geometric: pennant stem at finial bent, and possibly resoldered in place. body lacking two small pennants and their stems. lesning slightly, footrim wear. wear to silvering. windows: leaning slightly on stem. finish wear. ovoid: some bending to reticulation of lid. some surface wear and light wear to silvering. filigree: loss of silvering. visible testing mark at stem. faux hallmarks at footrim.
